AitkenTaylor is led by Den Aitken and Alice Taylor. Together they have more than 20 years’ experience in the planning, design and programming of public and private spaces around Aotearoa.

Den Aitken
Director & Landscape Architect

Den is a qualified landscape architect with broad experience in local government, academia and private practice. He has built a reputation around understanding the social aspects of urban design, working with some of the country’s most respected architects and planners.

Alice Taylor
Director & Project Manager

Alice is a skilled project and events manager who has worked on major festivals, exhibitions and feature films in New Zealand and overseas. Her knowledge of how spatial design affects human behaviour guides decision-making on all of AitkenTaylor’s projects.
